" THE MOON "

The moon has a face like the clock in the ball,

        She is shines on thieves on the garden wall.

On streets and fields and horbour quays,

        And birdies asleep the forks of the trees.

The squalling cat and the squealing mouse

        The howling dog by  the door of the house

The bat that lies in bed noon.

        All love to be out by the light of the moom.

       

But all of the things that belong to the day.

        Cuddle to sleep to be out of the way.

And teh flowers and children close their eyes.

        Till up in the morning the sun shall rise.

လမင္းႀကီး

+      လမင္းႀကီးမွာ ခန္းမထဲက နာရီလိုမ်က္ႏွာမ်ဳိးရွိ ၊

                သူခိုးမ်ားအေပၚ ဥယ်ာဥ္နံရံအေပၚ သူမထြန္းလင္း၏ ။

+      လမ္းမမ်ားႏွင့္လယ္ကြင္းမ်ား၊ၿပီးေတာ့ဆိပ္ကမ္း၊ ဆိပ္ခံတံတားမ်ားေပၚ၊

                ၿပီးေတာ့ သစ္ပင္မ်ားရဲ႕ခြၾကားမ်ားမွာ

အိပ္ေပ်ာ္ေနတဲ့ငွက္မ်ားအေပၚ။

+      တေညာင္ေညာင္ေအာ္ေနတဲ့ေၾကာင္နဲ႕ တစီစီျမည္တဲ့ႂကြက္ကေလး ၊

                အိမ္တံခါးနားမွာ အူေနတဲ့ေခြး ။

+      ေန႕ခင္းဖက္မွာ အိပ္ယာထဲ လွဲတတ္တဲ့လင္းႏို႕ ၊

                သူတို႕အားလံုး ႏွစ္သက္ၾက လေရာင္ေအာက္ကိုထြက္ဖို႕။

+      ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း ေန႕နဲ႕ဆိုင္တဲ့အရာအားလံုးတို႕သည္ ၊

                ဒါေတြနဲ႕ေ၀းရာမွာ အိပ္စက္ဖို႕ကို ေထြးပိုက္ၾကၿပီ ။

+      ၿပီးေတာ့ ပန္းမ်ားနဲ႕ကေလးမ်ားလဲ သူတို႕မ်က္စိမ်ားကိုပိတ္ထားရွာ ။

                နံနက္ခင္းေနမင္းႀကီး ထြက္လာသည္ထိတိုင္ေအာင္သာ ။       ။
